Ramon is a 3rd class municipality in the province of Isabela,
Philippines . According to the2000 census, it has a population of 41,441 people in 8,376 households.Majority of its inhabitants derive their income from agriculture. It is for this reason that the main thrusts of the Local Government Unit of Ramon are those which supports the agricultural sector.

Raniag known as the education center of the municipality, most of the private schools and government school institution are located in this barangay)
