Ramon, Isabela

Ramon is a 3rd class municipality in the province of Isabela, Philippines. According to the 2000 census, it has a population of 41,441 people in 8,376 households.

Majority of its inhabitants derive their income from agriculture. It is for this reason that the main thrusts of the Local Government Unit of Ramon are those which supports the agricultural sector.

* Raniag (populated mostly by Ilocano immigrants coming from Tarlac, Nueva Ecija, Pangasinan and the Ilocos provinces as early as the 1920's. The greater Raniag used to include the barrios of San Antonio and Villa Marcos.
