Rockville is a former city in Delaware County, Iowa, United States. Bordering Dubuque County within the North Fork Township, it was approximately 3 miles northwest of Worthington and 1.5 miles west of today's Iowa Highway 136.

Rockville's acknowledgment as part of Iowa has been virtually expired since the 20th century, with the area being recognized simply as rural outskirts of Worthington. Remnants of its history can be seen in Rockville Cemetery, which includes veterans of the Civil [Aichison, Adrian [http://www.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~iadubuqu/cemeteries/dumpditch.html Dump Ditch Cemetery - Old Baptist Cemetery near Worthington, Iowa] RootsWeb.Ancestry.com (2004). The Rockville Post Office opened June 15, 1846 and closed for the second and final time on May 31, 1898. The hilly area, still traversed by gravel roads, now consists primarily of farms and woodland.
