The Iranian presidential election of 1985 took place on August 16, 1985, and resulted in the re-election of the incumbent President Ali Khamenei.
The 14,244,574 votes were distributed to the three candidates, with the following numbers:
* Ali Khamenei: 12,203,870 votes
* Mahmoud Kashani: 1,402,370 votes
* Habibollah Asgar-Owladi: 283,341 votes
* Blank or invalid votes: 354,993 votes
