Leroy Jenkins is an American televangelist who was popular in the 1960s and 1970s. He was known for his supposed faith healing, through the use of "miracle water". In 1979 he was incarcerated for threatening arson. In 2003, while based in Ohio, the Jenkins was fined 200 dollars after his "miracle water" was found to contain coliform bacteria. Currently, he is based in Scottsdale, Arizona, and continues to practice faith healing. In 2002, a film was released about his life, entitled "The Calling".
Mrs W. M. Jenkins, the mother of Leroy Jenkins, was also a well-known evangelist in Florida during the 1960s and 1970s.
