The FlatIron Improvement District represents three commercial retail developments totaling 2.5 million square feet in retail space in Broomfield, Colorado.
In partnership with the City and County of Broomfield, the District was created to operate a free circulator shuttle known as the Zip Shopping Shuttle for employees and shoppers to minimize traffic congestion.
The District also administers a free bus pass program, known as Z-Pass, for employees to ensure an accessible labor force for the District’s retailers.
The District is a special improvement district and a local government and is represented by a developer representative from each of the three retail areas and a City Councilmember from the City and County of Broomfield.
