Zeffiro Furiassi (born January 19, 1923 in Pesaro; died November 14, 1978) was an Italian football (soccer) player.Unlike most defenders, Zeffiro Furiassi had great feet he seldom cleared the ball like the majority of his colleagues rather he had the ability to make accurate passes to the midfielders to mount counterattacks.fact|date=May 2008 Superb with both Fiorentina and Lazio, he played eight seasons as a starter and racked up 239 appearances in Serie A without ever scoring a goal. With the national team he was one of four players (the others being Cappello, Carapellese and Muccinelli) that played both games at the 1950 World Cup which were his only two appearances for the national team.
