Fearnes Coaches originally began general carriers and charter bus operator founded by William Fearne and William Borlase however William Borlase pulled out of the partnership in the early 1920s. By 1929 William Fearne created the first route and timetable in Wagga Wagga which started between the Wagga suburb of Turvey Park and Docker Street which was extended to North Wagga Clive Fearne, the son of William Fearne brought the company in 1936 until his death in 1989. The business was then past down to Clive's son Garry Fearne who was a pioneer in the coach industry. Garry passed away in 1996 leaving the business to his wife Audrey whom is still carrying on the family tradition.
