Cathy Carroll, born December 26th, 1939 as Carolyn Stern, was an American singer and first recorded for the Triodex label in 1961 where members of the Earls and the 4 Evers sang backup. His own version was issued on the Big Top label and both were reviewed at the same time.Cathy was portrayed as the "typical American girl" and went on a sponsored tour of 100 radio stations.In the 2000s the Cheer label issued a 24 track CD of her complete works.She retired from music in the 1970's to raise her two children, Ron Scott born in 1968 and Jennifer born in 1976.References
