In recent years the high school baseball program has received statewide recognition in winning class 1A state titles in 2002, 2005 and 2006. The boys basketball team, also competing in class 1A, won the sectional championship in 2008 for the seventh straight season, all under former coach Gary Merrell. The run included one state runner-up title in 2004 and regional championships in 2003, 2004 and 2005.
