Marvin Creamer (born January 24, 1916) is a former college professor and amateur American sailor noted for having sailed around the globe without the aid of navigational instruments. From 21 December 1982 until 17 May 1984, a total of 510 days at sea, Creamer and the crew of his 36' boat Globe Star circumnavigated the globe without navigational instruments, not even a compass or watch. Only the stars, winds, water currents and occasional signs of life served as his guides.
Creamer was born in Vineland NJ and taught Geography at Glassboro State College from 1948 until 1977.
