Lillian Watson (swimmer)

Lillian "Pokey" Watson (born July 11, 1950) is an American swimmer and olympic champion. She competed at the 1964 Olympic Games in Tokyo, where she received a gold medal in "4 × 100 m freestyle relay". World records

She broke Dawn Fraser's six year old world record in 200 m freestyle, long course 19 August, 1966 (2:10.5), and held the record for one year. She was part of several world records in relay.

Lillian Watson was inducted into the International Swimming Hall of Fame in Fort Lauderdale, Florida in 1984.
