- United Nations Convention against Corruption
The United Nations Convention against Corruption was adopted by the United Nations General Assembly on 31 October 2003 (Resolution 58/4).
To combat corruption it includes measures on:
* prevention
* criminalization
* international cooperation
* asset recovery
The treaty entered into force on 14 December 2005, following the 30th ratification by Ecuador on 15 September at the 2005 World Summit.
ignatures and ratifications
As of 04 February 2008, there were 140 signatories. The Convention is ratified, accepted, approved or acceded by 107 countries (state parties). The state parties are: [http://www.unodc.org/unodc/en/treaties/CAC/signatories.html]
