Matt Papa is an American rock singer, guitarist and songwriter from Gainesville, Georgia. His music is often compared to David Crowder because of his unique voice and hairstyle.[1]

Biography

Papa released his debut album, You Are Good, on SPIN360 records in late 2006 and songs from the album have been featured on several high-profile compilations, including WOW Worship. The album received much critical acclaim from several sources including Christianity Today'[2]'. Since You Are Good was released, Papa has released several independent projects, including a collaboration with worship leader Chris Orr, entitled Hymns, and an EP featuring covers of six worship songs. Matt Papa's latest album, Your Kingdom Come was released in late spring 2008 and several tracks from the album have been released free of charge on his official website. He is currently working at The Summit, a church in Raleigh, North Carolina as a worship pastor.[3]

Signed to Centricity Music

In late 2008 Matt Papa signed to the independent label, Centricity Music. He then released "Scripture Songs & Hymns 1" (2009) and in August He re-released "Your Kingdom Come" (2009)
