Dave Lamont is an American radio personality. He formerly hosted South Florida's First News weekday mornings from 5 to 9 on WIOD (610 AM). He was the ringleader of SFFN and does everything from reporting to getting interactive with listeners. Lamont currently calls college football for ESPN, with J.C. Pearson serving as his color man. Lamont joined the SEC Network in 2010 to call college basketball.
Lamont also makes appearances in regular intervals on the Paul and Young Ron Show. He typically joins them full time after 9:00 AM. Lamont is a veteran sports broadcaster and has worked in both television and radio for many years, both locally and nationally.
"I want our audience to be informed, but beyond that I want them to be happy, be sad, and be angry too, just not at the same time. I will guarantee at times our listeners will be right by my side and other times they will be mad at me. I wouldn't have it any other way."[1]
