TĀLIB AL-SUHAIL AL-TAMĪMĪ leader of the Iraqi Banī Tamīm was assassinated by the Iraqi Intelligence Service in Beirut (April 1994).
His daughter Safia al-Suhail was a guest during the State of the Union and was appointed Iraq's ambassador to Egypt.
