Furanolactone

A furanolactone is a heterocyclic chemical compound that contains both a lactone and a furan ring structure.

Examples include:

* Salvinorina, including the hallucinogenic compound salvinorin A
* Columbin, a potential chemopreventive compound
* Limonoids such as limonin, nomilin, and nomilinic acid
