Bradley Kirk Arnold (born
September 27 ,1978 ) is the vocalist in the band3 Doors Down . He also played drums in the band's first studio album "The Better Life ". He grew up in Escatawpa,Mississippi , and currently lives in Jackson, Mississippi.Brad had the following to say about his tattoo: "My tattoo is of Jesus hanging on the cross. It's made out of tribal lines. I didn't want it to look like a picture."
When Brad told his father that it was his voice on the CD, his father responded, "Go tell your mamma. She might believe you." He hadn't heard his son sing one word before the band's first CD was released.
He is the youngest member in the band and when writing songs, only does so behind the drums, as he feels that this is the only place that he can write. He is known to have tried to get rid of his southern accent, but he said it was too hard.

February 3 ,2006 in a one car accident (he wasn't driving) in Mississippi. He suffered severe lacerations and bruises to his face but made a full recovery. 3 Doors Down cancelled two tour dates as a result. It was later revealed Arnold's injuries as caused by the accident were more severe than initially stated. Arnold needed 40 stitches to his face and his ear had to be reattached. Bassist Todd Harrell said, "If Brad wasn't wearing his seatbelt, he'd probably be dead now."
