"Be Your Lady" is a rap song written by American rapper-songwriter Khia for her third studio album "Nasti Muzik". The song was released as the album's first offical single on April 22, 2008.

The single is now released to iTunes music store. The iTunes EP originally had the title & cover entitled as "Be Yo Lady" but has changed it to "Be Your Lady", as well as changing the clean acapella to an explicit acapella.

Music Video

The official video was initially supposed to be provided by Big Cat Records. However, because Khia left the label three weeks prior to the album/video release (partly due to the fact that there was no official music video provided at a sooner date, thus leading to an overall lack of promotion for the single), this never came to be. It is said that Khia had to pay for expenses for the video out of her own pocket, without the support of Big Cat Records. The video was shot in Las Vegas, Nevada on July 9 by up and coming music video director Dennis McKinley. It was released on July 22 on Khia's official MySpace, the same day as the album.

The video sees Khia catering to her man and showcases her at home in several different scenarios, including doing laundry, cooking, and vacuuming the house in a french maid ensemble. Oddly enough, the only person seen in the video is Khia, without the appearance of her man. This is said to be because her parter is at work taking care of the bills, while Khia is at home taking care of the household. Many have criticized the video for looking too "low budget".

Chart Performance

"Be Yo Lady" suffered from lack of Radio support resulting in the single under-achieving in the US, failing to chart on any of the Billboard charts, despite the various radio interviews Khia ventured.
