Jann Wilde & The Neon Comets are glam/pop/punk group from Tampere, Finland.

The band originally started as a solo project from singer/songwriter Jann Wilde when he released his demo EP Boys Out Of New York in 2004. On the early demos, he recorded all the instruments on most of the tracks. In 2005 Jann Wilde teamed up with a band Rose Avenue and formed Jann Wilde & Rose Avenue.

They released one album in February 2007 called Tokio Okei before splitting up in musical and artistic differences.

However shortly after Jann Wilde continued the band with a new line-up and changed the Rose Avenue to The Neon Comets. Jann Wilde & The Neon Comets released the album Neon City Rockers in August 27th, 2008.
