Milverton railway station served the village of Milverton in Somerset. It was on the Devon and Somerset Railway that ran between Taunton and Barnstaple. The Devon and Somerset was operated by the Bristol and Exeter Railway and was taken over with the B&E by the Great Western Railway.
The section of the line between Norton Fitzwarren and Wiveliscombe opened on 8 June 1871 with much celebration in Milverton, which was the only intervening station.
Milverton station was originally on a single track part of the line, and had a single platform with a brick building. A crossing loop was installed with a second platform in 1880. The station had a signalbox on the down platform by the main building and a goods yard was later built to the west of the station.
Goods traffic was withdrawn from Milverton in 1963 and the station closed to passenger traffic with the closure of the Devon and Somerset line on 3 October 1966. No trace now remains of the station.
