Merger to form New Charter Academy
In September 2008 Hartshead merged with Stamford High School to form
New Charter Academy , named after the academy's sponsor of the same name. The former Stamford High School is now New Charter's Silver Springs Campus and Hartshead's building is now Greenhurst Campus.The Academy opened in September 2008. Uniform
The school uniform consisted of a white top/blouse, and black trousers or black skirts, the school tie, and a black school blazer.
