Jack Lawless is the drummer for the Jonas Brothers. He grew up in Middletown Township, New Jersey, part of Monmouth County.

Career

For the past year Jack has just been a performing drummer for the Jonas Brothers. However, they have a third CD coming out this summer, A Little Bit Longer and Jack, as well as other band members, Greg Garbowsky and John Taylor, have written and recorded the music with them. They were all contracted for the third CD.

Music

Jack has toured with the Jonas Brothers since early 2007. He replaced former drummer, Alexander Noyes (who is now in a band called Honor Society). He was there when they opened for Jesse McCartney, Backstreet Boys, and other artists in early 2007.

This was the first official tour Jack was with the brothers on. Also featured Miley Cyrus as Hannah Montana but only played on November 5th, 2006 in San Jose.

Jonas Brothers Prom Tour

On June 25, 2007, the Jonas Brothers began their prom-themed tour, Jonas Brothers Prom Tour, in Lodi, NJ. The tour lasted for several months, ending in October 15 in Columbia, South Carolina. Best of Both Worlds Tour

From October 18, 2007 to January 9, 2008, Jack was a part of the Miley Cyrus's Best of Both Worlds Tour and the 3D movie, for the Jonas Brothers that was released in theatres in February 2008. They started in St. Louis, Missouri, and ended in Albany, New York. [ cite press release

Look Me in the Eyes Tour

He completed the Look Me In The Eyes Tour starting on January 31, 2008 in Tucson, Arizona with the Jonas Brothers and will most likely appear on their new reality Disney Channel Original Short Series , .

Burning Up tour

Jack will be on the Burning Up Tour, promoting Jonas Brothers’ Camp Rock and 3rd studio album, the tour kicks off July 4 2008 at Molson Amphitheatre in Toronto, Ontario.

Television

Jack has performed on Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve as well as the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade with the Jonas Brothers. He has also made several appearances on The Ellen Degeneres Show and many other talk shows like The Tonight Show with Jay Leno and Jimmy Kimmel Live!. He is also with the Jonas Brothers as well as Greg Garbowsky on Oprah, which premiered on April 2008.
