After Midnight Project

After Midnight Project (commonly abbreviated as AMP) is an alternative rock band hailing from Los Angeles, California. The band formed in early 2004, consists of five members. "Alternative Press" named the band as one of the "Top 4 Unsigned Bands in the Nation." [ [http://www.purevolume.com/aftermidnightproject After Midnight Project on purevolume™ ] ] The Los Angeles Times has showcased AMP numerous times in their paper as a "Buzz Worthy" band. The band is known for their highly explosive and intense live shows as well as their dead-on live vocals. AMP is managed by Los Angeles based Restless Management. AMP was recently signed to Universal/Motown Records and they are currently in the studio with John Feldmann (Story of the Year, The Used, Atreyu). AMP is also prepping a Fall 2008 Tour with Escape the Fate and Skylit Drive.

The line-up consists of Jason Evigan (vocals), Spencer Bastian (guitar), Christian Meadows (guitar), TJ Armstrong (bass) and Danny Morris (drums).

Sound

The group has a unique sound mixing several different genres of rock including alternative rock, pop rock, nu metal, industrial, and several others. Their various soundscapes have drawn the band comparisons to: Incubus, Nine Inch Nails, and Smashing Pumpkins. The band's song "Take Me Home" was featured in the PC, Mac and X-Box 360 game "Prey." A video was released for the song. It features the band playing in a small room. It features cutscenes from the game as well.
