Mobonix, born as Mohammed Kabir, is an American rap artist and hip hop producer of Bangladeshi descent, and graduated magna cum laude from the University of Houston.[1] He released his debut The Mickey Finn Special on April 11, 2007. The EP reflects his life experiences which includes the United States Marine Corps.[2] His first single, What Chu Wanna Do? is included on the American Pie Presents: Beta House soundtrack in 2007. The same song, What Chu Wanna Do?, is also featured in The CW Television Network's television show Reaper in the 2008 episode Acid Queen.[3]

Mobonix also breaks from his original style by singing entirely on the song Cry which was co-produced by Cameron Wallace who is known for producing multi-platinum songs such as Upgrade U for Beyoncé Knowles.[4]
