Arizona MultiBank Community Development Corporation, in conjunction with the PPEP Micro-business and Housing Development Corporation in Tucson, provided funding for the purchase of both KDAP and KDAP-FM by Douglas Broadcasting, Inc. In March 2002, then-owner KASA Radio Hogar was fined $15,000 by the FCC for "failing to properly maintain the antenna" of KDAP.
