QBD The Bookshop (originally Queensland Book Depot) commenced operations in the late 1800s. Over a 130 year period, QBD has had a number of owners, including the Uniting Church. QBD Garden City was purchased in 1991 by the Robinson family, and in early 1992 the business names were purchased from the receivers.
