Winslow serves the community of Winslow and is open to high school students from the towns ofChina, Maine andVassalboro, Maine at a tuition cost since there is no public high school in either town. The Winslow Black Raiders football team currently plays in the Class B Pine Tree Conference and has won 12 state football championships. Only Marshwood High School, of
South Berwick , holds more state football championships than Winslow. Marshwood holds 17. Biddeford High School, ofBiddeford , is third with 11 state championships. Winslow's most recent state title came in 2001 after they defeated York High School, ofYork , 24-17. [http://www.mpa.cc/football.html]Winslow High School set a National High School Federation record in field hockey in 1998 after becoming the first team to complete a season without being scored upon and without ties (18-0). Coach Brenda Beckwith compiled an overall win-loss record of 125-11-2 over seven seasons as head coach and led the Raiders to four Class B State Championships. Their most recent state championship was won in 2002 after a 1-0 win over Greely High School, of

The girls ice hockey team holds one Maine Girls Ice Hockey Association Tier 2 championship. In the 2008-09 season the Maine Principals Association will elevate girls ice hockey to the varsity level. Winslow will have one of the first varsity girls ice hockey programs in the state of Maine. The boys last won states in the 2007-08 season with a 4-3 overtime win against York High School. The girls only championship came in the 2004-05 season.
