"Great Greeks" ( _el. Μεγαλοι Ελληνες, "Megaloi Ellēnes") is the Greek version of the BBC show "100 Greatest Britons".

It is currently being produced by Greek television network Skai TV and on 16 April 2008 the voting began in order to choose the 100 greatest Greeks of all time. The voting procedure ended on 7 May.

Format

After the voting procedure, 12 episodes will be aired.

The first episode will be a "prologue" in which all 100 winners of the poll will be presented in a 4-hour-long documentary.

The following ten episodes will contain extensive presentations on each nominee on the top-10 list. Each episode will feature a celebrity advocate supporting the nominee of the episode.

The final episode, an "epilogue", will be a live debate between the supporters of each top-10 Greek in order to give to one of them the first spot.
