Kirtland Central High School (KCHS) is located in the town of Kirtland, New Mexico (USA) its colors are Purple & Gold and their mascot is the Bronco. KCHS is a part of the Central Consolidated School District along with Newcomb High School and Shiprock High School.

Kirtland Central is a New Mexico Activities Association (NMAA) AAAA school in District 1. KCHS competes in 15 NMAA sport and Activity Events. KCHS has taken a total of 26 State Championships in 3A & 4A.The Kirtland Central girls basketball progam is one of the most storied programs in New Mexico, having competed in 27 state championship finals since 1979 and has not missed a state tournament appearance since 1977. In 2008, St. Piux X defeated Kirtland Central in the NM 4A state final, 57-48, at University Arena, famously known as "The Pit", in Albuquerque, NM. A year before that, they were defeated by District 1-4A rival, Aztec, 52-46. The last state title won for the program was in 2005, in which Kirtland defeated Deming, 65-50. The program ranks 3rd nationally in state championships (17) and 2nd in consecutive state championship wins (1980-1987). They have also been ranked nationally in the mid-1980's and early 2000's.
