The Vevčani-Radožda dialect ( _mk. Вевчанско-радошки дијалект, "Vevčansko-radoški dijalekt") is a member of the western and north western subgroup of the western group of dialects of the

The Peter de Ridder Press, 1976; 309pp] Because of the old and rich tradition that this region has and because of the Vevčani Carnival, many old words are present in everyday communication of the people. The Vevčani-Radοža dialect is the smallest dialect among the othersdialects of the Macedonian language .The dialect is spoken in the villages
Radožda ,Vevčani ,Mali Vlai ,Kališta ,Višni ,Gorna Belica ,Zagračani ,Oktisi ,Labuništa ,Boroec and in the surrounding villages of this region on the south ofRepublic of Macedonia . The dialects is also spoken in the villages ofLin ,Piskupat ,Polje in Albania and in the surrounding hinterland. The dialect is close with the Struga, Korča, and Ohrid dialects.Phonological characteristic
*change of word-initial IPA|/tsv/ (цв-) to IPA|/tsu/ (цу): цвет → цут / "cvet" → "cut" ('flower')
*loss of intervocalic IPA|/v/ (в): половина → полојна / "polovina" → "polojna" ('a half')

*use of the intervocalic "o" instead of "a"Morphological characteristic

*use of the suffix -Т: тој пишит / "toj pišit" ('he writes');
