Lillington itself has two main areas, the new centre based around "Crown Way" which contains shops,
dry cleaners and apost office . The area was predominantly built as acouncil house estate, and contains threetower block s. The tallest of which "Eden Court" dominates the skyline and can be seen from the "Radford Road", Sydenham,Radford Semele and for miles outside Leamington.Former village
The second, and older area, contains the former village with the
parish church ofSt. Mary Magdalene, Warwickshire , the former manor house, some Victorianterraced house s as well as an estate of 1950s predominantlysemi-detached houses.Campion Hills
A high point in Leamington is the "Campion Hills" near the
Newbold Comyn recreation grounds, offering a view over Leamington. Atop is the town's transmission tower which is used to transmitTV andradio signals and theSevern Trent water treatment plant which serves the whole of Leamington. There is also aBMX track there.Flood prevention
Just inside Lillington, on the Leamington Spa town centre side, is a hollowed-out field. This area is designed to receive the water of the "Bins Brook" if it should overflow and prevent flooding. It bears some resemblance to an emptied lake and may be filled during

The 14th century
parish church ofSt. Mary Magdalene, Warwickshire was largely rebuilt in the 19th century. The late Perpendicular tower was retained, with a contemporary bell, cast around 1480. With two seventeenth century bells and five more dating from 1927, the present ring of eight bells was formed. They were re-hung by Nicholsons' ofBridport in 2007.TheFree church is located on the "Cubbington Road". In the early20th century the remains of amammoth was found in the vicinity.
