Three Kingdoms era ofChina . His titles translate as "General Who Eliminates the Bandits" (灭寇將軍), "Lord of An Feng" (安豐侯), and "Great Minister of War" (大將軍). He was known as a brave warrior and skilled strategist.Biography
Ding Feng was born in
Anfeng County ofLujiang (PresentlyHequi ,Anhui ), and in his youth, he fought on many occasions and subsequently earned a reputation as the bravest man in the army.Sun Quan appointed him "General Who Surpasses All Others" and he was titled Lord of the Capital Precinct.Towards the end of the Three Kingdoms era, Ding Feng led troops against
Cao Wei ’sZhuge Dan and was promoted to "General Who Eliminates the Bandits" and Lord of Anfeng.After
Sun Xiu succeeded the throne as the Emperor of Wu, Ding Feng aided the emperor in the assassination of the tyrantSun Chen . For this he was promoted to "Great General" and "District Guard of the Left and Right". He was also given the seal of Protector of Xuzhou.After Sun Xiu’s death, Ding Feng welcomed
Sun Hao as the new emperor. He was then appointed Great Minister of War and General of the Left. He is one ofFive Wu Elders , the five who helpWu dynasty since the generation of Sun Jian to many later generations.ee also
