Bishop Vaughan Catholic Comprehensive School

Bishop Vaughan Catholic Comprehensive School

The Bishop Vaughan Catholic Comprehensive School, as its name suggests, is a secondary school associated with the Roman Catholic faith. The premises are located on Mynydd Garnlwyd Road, in the Morriston area of Swansea. In terms of church territory, the school belongs to the Diocese of Menevia.

The school was founded in 1967 by the local people of Swansea. It is relatively popular and comprises a number of buildings; the main block, the new block, the craft block, the music block, the lunch block and the gymnasiums.

The schools longest serving member of staff retired last year however still performs a number of minor rolls in the school. As from 2008 the school will switch to a new 2-week timetable.
