Italian general election, 1996 (Veneto)

The Italian general election of 1996 took place on 21 April 1996. The election was won narrowly in Veneto by the centre-left The Olive Tree, which won also nationally, but Liga Veneta-Lega Nord was the most voted party and has its best result ever: 32.8% in single-seat constituencies and 29.3% with proportional representation.
