Željko Grujić

Željko Grujić is a Serbian musician and member of a band called "Srpski Talibani" (trasl. Serbian Taliban). He is best known as the author of a notorious song "Gori Njujork" (New York is Burning) celebrating the events of September 11, 2001 attacks [ [http://www.svet.co.yu/?state=3&izdanje=2&broj=286&clanak=359 U Bosni nas slušaju i Hrvati i Muslimani!] , "Svet.co.yu", June 12, 2002. He has also penned songs which include lyrics glorifying indicted war criminals such as Ratko Mladić, Radovan Karadžić, Slobodan Milošević. The song "Sidji Raso sidji sa planine" ("Come down [Radovan] , come down from the mountain") is a song praising Mladić and Karadžić and calling for them to come out of hiding. Mladić and Karadžić have been in hiding since their indictments for war crimes by the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia [ [http://www.bhdani.com/arhiva/244/fokus.shtml Siđi, Rašo, siđi sa planine] , "BHdani.com", February 15, 2002. The song "Gori Njujork" has been praised by the anti-western sentimentalist in Serbia while, at the same time, it has been condemned by the pro-western factions due to its lyrics such as:

("Translation from Serbian")

as well as:

cquote2|quotetext=Listen carefully, Albright bitch, Gavrilo's gun will kill you (referring to Madeleine Albright and Gavrilo Princip).

The song also includes death threats to Jaques Chirac, Bill Clinton, and Kofi Annan.
