Anders Odden (born 20 December 1972), is a musician and currently amulti-instrumentalist and songwriter for Magenta and the jam-band/metal/comedy group Karaoke From Hell. He was previously the guitarist for Apoptygma Berzerk and Celtic Frost. He is also the co-founder and guitarist of the Norwegian death metal pioneers Cadaver (1988–1993; 1999–2004). He has also contributed as recording guitarist for the Norwegian black metal band Satyricon as well as being guestartist with legendary bands such as The Young Gods and Ministry among others.

Personal life

Though born in Stavanger, he moved to Fredrikstad sometime during his childhood where by his own admission he grew up without any TV and could devote himself to his father's collection of classical music. He was unaware of rock music until the age of 7 when he discovered Kiss and devoted his life to music.

Anders Odden started out as a black metal artist in the mid 80s and went on to death metal in the early 90s with Cadaver. He went on with bands like Apoptygma Berzerk and Magenta with great success, and reunited Cadaver again in the late 90s to fulfill his metal visions. After touring with Morbid Angel, Extreme Noise Terror, Mayhem, and 2 great albums, they put Cadaver to a final grave in 2004. Anders Odden then went back to the Apoptygma Berzerk camp and co-wrote their album, You And Me Against The World with Stephan Groth. He toured the world with them until his favorite metalband of all time, Celtic Frost called him in as their live guitarist in 2006. He toured all of Europe, USA, Canada and Japan with them on their triumphant Monotheist tour which ended in 2007. In April 2008 he just completed the new album from Magenta, Art And Accidents as well as beginning to write more metal-oriented stuff again. In June 2008 he filmed his first ever show for TV with Karaoke From Hell which is going to be broadcasted from September to November on TV3 in Norway. The show is called Charterfeber and is a docusoap about Norwegians on holiday.
