Ayoola Oba Otudeko (born August 18, 1943) is an officer of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Going by the name of Oba, he is a highly successful Nigerian entrepreneur. He chairs the board of a number of companies including Honeywell Group of Companies, a Nigerian-based conglomerate and holding company with strong international presence.
Oba Otudeko graduated from Olivet Baptist High School, Oyo, Nigeria in 1960 and attended Leeds College of Commerce in the United Kingdom.
Oba Otudeko is a fellow of the Chartered Institute of Bankers, United Kingdom, Institute of Chartered & Corporate Accountants with honours, U. K, Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria, and Associate member, Institute of Chartered Secretaries with honours, U. K. He is a seasoned banker and administrator, and served in various Bankers' Committees.
He is a Non-Executive Director of First Bank of Nigeria, PLC. He was a one-time Chairman of Vee-Networks and was installed the 16th President of the Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE) on 8 December 2006. He is the founder of Oba Otudeko Foundation.
The Federal Government of Nigeria awarded him National Honors of Member of the Order of the Federal Republic (MFR) in 2000 which was upgraded to Officer of the Order of the Federal Republic (OFR) in 2003. Oba Otudeko holdes the Honorary Doctor of Science (D.Sc.) awarded by Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ago-Iwoye, Nigeria. He serves as the Chancellor of Ogun State University, Nigeria.
He is currently rated 24th richest man in Africa by forbes magazine
