"Environmental Values" (EV) is a peer-reviewed journal of environmental ethics, ecological economics and applied philosophy, published four times per year. Environmental Values brings together contributions from philosophy, economics, politics, sociology, geography, anthropology, ecology and other disciplines, which relate to the present and future environment of human beings and other species. In doing so it aims to clarify the relationship between practical policy issues and more fundamental underlying principles or assumptions.

Established in 1992 with editorial offices at the University of Lancaster, UK and edited by Alan Holland until 2007 when the Clive L. Spash became editor-in-chief and editorial offices were moved to the University of Central Lancashire.
