Jarhead is an eternally frustrated cyborg whose plans to eliminate mankind usually result in a humorous inversion of intentions that result in the highlighting of his lack of insight into the human condition and his somewhat limited intelligence. This is compounded by his ability to recognize these limitations is in itself limited.

Origins

Jarhead's origins have never been explained within the strip. Jarhead is named for his appearance, his head is literally a brain in a jar mounted upon the body of a robot for with articulated arms.
