Kartvelian peoples

Kartvelian peoples

Kartvelian peoples are ethnic groups in southern Caucasus that speak South Caucasian languages. The following peoples are usually classified as Kartvelian:

*Georgians
*Laz people
*Mingrelians
*Svans

Most of those peoples are Georgian Orthodox Christians, though some are Muslims or atheists.
