Haymarket Bus Station is one of two bus stations serving the city centre of

A travel shop forArriva Northumbria is based within the bus station.The station consits of 15 bus stands lettered L - Y (A-K being located in the adjacent Eldon Square bus station). Haymarket Bus Station mainly serves destinations in Northumberland and North Tyneside, north and east of

Stand Y is the northern terminus for the Q2 "
QuayLink " service which is operated by a fleet of hybrid electric buses running every 10 minutes toNewcastle Quayside . The other QuayLink service, the Q1, runs from Newcastle railway station toGateshead Interchange viaThe Sage Gateshead . An interchange for the both services is Grey Street.
