Barrell's position of choice is as a Flanker or No. 8.
Career
Barrell attended Watford Grammar School for Boys. He follows in a long list of stars to enter the gates of Watford Boys, like former England and London Wasps star Josh Lewsey, and Welsh rugby legend John Taylor. He went on to study Anthropology at University College London.[1]
Barrell made his club debut aged 18 in the 2003–04 season, against the Northampton Saints.[1] Barrell represented England at the 2005 U19 IRB World Championship.[2] He was a part of the wider England Sevens squad in the 2006–07 season.[3]
