Alex Goode, born 7th May 1988, is a professional English rugby player playing in the Guinness Premiership for Saracens FC. He was educated at The Leys School, and Oakham, and at the University of Hertfordshire.

Career

All-rounder Alex Goode appeared at the national schools athletics finals, played county tennis and was part of the Ipswich FC academy before joining Saracens. He even has an Olympic medallist in the family in the shape of auntie Jo Goode, who won a bronze in Badminton in Sydney. He's an all-rounder on the rugby pitch too. A fly half by trade, he moved to full back and contributed 48 points to the Under-19 last season cause with his accurate goalkicking. He started the first three games in the U20 Six Nations at fly half, then played at centre following injury to Jordan Turner-Hall, and kicked a further 44 points. He is interested in a marketing career after rugby.

Alex has represented England at Under 16A, Under 18, Under 19 and Under 20 level.
