She was chosen as "Playboy's" Playmate of the Month for its March 1989 issue.Wood, who suggested in her pictorial that her appearance was a gift to her husband, is not believed to have posed for the magazine again after her initial appearance, and subsequent appearances in "Playboy" magazines were outtakes from her 1988-89 sessions.
