Vistula, Michigan

Vistula, Michigan

Vistula is a former village in what is now Toledo, Ohio. In 1833 this village along with the village of Port Lawrence, Michigan merged to what is now known as the city of Toledo. This occurred before Michigan's concession of Ohio's claim to the Toledo Strip, a territory disputed between the two states before President Andrew Jackson's intervention in the Toledo War.
