Endmoor

Endmoor is a small village within Cumbria close to the A65 road. It is about convert|5|mi|0 from Kendal and is just south of Oxenholme.

About

Endmoor is a community with small businesses including a shop, church at Preston Patrick, village hall, outreach post office and bakery.
A famous millennium clock stands on the green and there is a playground for the children.Local schools include Natland, Crosscrake and Old Hutton and for secondary Dallam and QES.

History

Endmoor used to be home to a grand manor house called Enyeat. This is now the name of a nearby road and the coach house (1875) is a guest house.
