Kelly Doran

Kelly J. Doran (born November 22, 1957) is a Minnesota businessman. He ran for Governor as a member of the Minnesota Democratic-Farmer-Labor Party, but ended his bid in March 2006, stating that the campaign was too difficult for his young family. Doran's wife, Maria, is an attorney, having worked in private practice and as general counsel for the Robert Muir Company. They have three children: Evan, Ali and Sydney. In addition to his work in business, Doran served as president of the Caring Tree Organization, which supplies back-to-school supplies to thousands of Minnesota children each year.
