"Syphon Filter 2" is a third-person shooter video game for the Sony PlayStation. Released in 2000, its plot picks up immediately after where the previous "Syphon Filter" ended. It is the second title in the "Syphon Filter" series.

Plot

Gabe Logan is no longer working for the International Presidential Consulting Agency. The Agency is responsible for the Syphon Filter virus, and elements of the IPCA are now preparing to sell the virus. Gabe and his partner, Lian Xing, attempted to expose the conspiracy and prevent terrorists from obtaining the virus. Unfortunately, Lian was infected with the virus and captured by the Agency, and Gabe is now being hunted by Agency operatives, the military, and local police.
