- Cyprus–South Africa relations
Cyprus-South African relations are foreign relations between
Cyprus andSouth Africa . Diplomatic relations between both countries were established onDecember 10 ,1993 . Cypriot Consulate General was established inJohannesburg in March 1994, and it was elevated to the status of an Embassy at the beginning of 1999. Cyprus has a High Commission inPretoria and an honorary consulate inCape Town . South Africa is represented in Cyprus through its embassy inAthens (Greece ) and an honorary consulate inNicosia . Both countries are full members of theCommonwealth of Nations .See also
