Charles Meyer (March 21, 1799 in Königsberg – July 2, 1862 in Dresden), also known as Carl Mayer[1], was a Russian pianist and composer active in the early 19th century. He was a piano teacher of Mikhail Glinka, a well-known Russian composer[2].
